A.D. Lauren-Abunassar
(she/hers) is a Palestinian-Irish-American writer. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Poetry, Rattle, Narrative, Boulevard, and elsewhere. She was a 2020 finalist for a Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship and the winner of the 2023 Etel Adnan Poetry Prize. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She once (accidentally) set a lawn mower on fire. Her favorite words are replete & raincoat. Her first book is forthcoming fall 2023.
